SCTC Dual Enrollment Required Orientation, Advisement and Registration (ROAR)

Due to legislation changes that cap funding through the Dual Enrollment Grant at 30 semester hours, the Georgia Student Finance Commission has asked that students complete a waiver form indicating their understanding of this new regulation.

This waiver indicates your understanding that you can only use DE funds for 30 hours. There are three potential scenarios for SCTC dual enrollees:

• If you have completed 18 or more semester hours at the end of the 2020 Spring Semester, you can use DE funds for 12 additional hours.
• If you've completed 17 or less semester hours at the end of the 2020 Spring Semester, you can use DE funds for up to 30 hours total.
• If you started as a dual enrollee during or after the 2020 Summer Semester, you can use DE funds for up to 30 hours total.
