To access student email, Banner Web, and coursework on Blackboard, follow the instructions below:
- Go to login.sctech.edu
- Enter the assigned student email address
- if you don’t know your email, go to https://helpdesk.sctech.edu/findemail.cfm
- For the Password enter the word Tigers, followed by the last 6 digits of your student ID (900) number Example: Tigers111111 (note, the “T” is uppercase). Note: If you do not know your student ID, check your acceptance letter or overview card. If you cannot locate either item, please submit a helpdesk request.
- Then select Sign In
- On the Set up multifactor authentication page, select SMS Authentication Setup button
- Enter the code and select the Verify button. NOTE: You must click the Send Code button each time you are presented with this page to receive a code on your phone – it is not automatic.
- On the Create your Southern Crescent Technical College account screen, input a personal email account that is not your SCTech email and a forgotten password question.
- Select the Create My Account button. These will be used for self-service password recovery.
- When complete, the Okta dashboard should appear with icons to Blackboard, Banner Web, Office 365, DegreeWorks, etc.
