Just like individuals possessing a driver's license are expected to know the rules of the road in each state he or she drives through, handgun license holders are expected to understand the rules and regulations associated with his or her Georgia Weapons Carry License (WCL) in the state of Georgia.
The responsibility to know and comply with the law rests with the license holder.
It is the responsibility of the license holder/gun owner to ensure that they have received gun safety training on proper loading, use and carry (including concealed carry) of a firearm.
Colleges (including their police or security departments) will not provide firearms training to anyone other than employed sworn police officers.
