Guest Conduct, Guest Information, and Child Care

Make sure your guests arrive sober and not under the influence of any substance. If anyone is found to be intoxicated or under the influence, they will be escorted off the property by law enforcement officers.

SCTC Public Safety and local law enforcement will be on hand for any issues that may arise.

Prohibited Items

o    Food in the sanctuary (auditorium)
o    Helium Balloons are not permitted in any facility building
o    Confetti is not permitted in any facility building.

o    No noise machines or devices

o    Pets (only service animals permitted).

o    Beverages (only bottled water allowed in the sanctuary)

Guest Information

All guests MUST be seated during the ceremony.

Guests (and students) MUST NOT stand in the aisles to take pictures. Anyone doing so will be asked to sit down.Auditorium chairs - one is saved

Tickets

There are NO TICKETS for the event however, there will be a limit of 4 guests that can attend per graduate.

 

IMPORTANT!

Per New Hope Baptist Church rules and due to fire code regulations, the doors will be locked once full capacity seating has been reached inside the venue. We advise planning accordingly and again limit 4 guests per graduate.

 

SPECIAL NEEDS SEATING
If you need accommodations or special seating due to a physical disability for graduation please contact one of the Special Services Coordinators in the Student Support Services Office in advance.

SAVING seats is NOT allowed. Student Affairs personnel and police officers will seat guests in all available seats prior to the start of the ceremony.

 

Child CareReading to children

Childcare facilities are not provided during the ceremony.

All children must be under adult supervision at ALL times.

SCTC employees are not authorized to supervise any children.
