Terms to know before we begin Okta setup:
Okta
- Okta is a secure login portal that allows you access to all your SCTC logins and apps in one place, the Okta dashboard. This includes Email/Office 365, Blackboard, Banner Web, and DegreeWorks.
√ Blackboard
- SCTC's Learning Management System for all classes.
- Students who do not complete an academic activity the first week of the semester will be dropped from their course.
- Classes cannot be accessed until semester begins.
√ Tiger Portal
- Contains personal info, class schedules, registration, financial aid info, campus directory, and course catalog.
√ Helpdesk
- Students receive solutions to Blackboard and email problems through the SCTC Helpdesk.
√ DegreeWorks
- Students can track progress towards earning a certificate, diploma, or degree using DegreeWorks.
