An impromptu speech is a message given without much preparation. The advantages of this type of speaking is the spontaneous delivery and animated response of the audience. The disadvantages to this type of speaking is a disorganized speech. Yikes!

  • Deliver your speech, but keep it brief and at pace your audience can follow
