How to Apply to the Commercial Truck Driving Program

Applying to the College

1. Go to this site and complete an online application to Southern Crescent Technical College.

  • --Make sure to choose the Butts County Center or Flint River Campus as your location in order to select Commercial Truck Driving as your program of study.

Applying to the Program

2. Complete Program Application Requirements as described here.  To apply to the program you must:

  • Obtain a commercial learner's permit.  For further information click here.  
  • Complete a DOT physical.  This can be done at any clinic.  
  • Obtain a 7 year motor vehicle report.  You can do this in person or online here.
